This is a re-working of Do and Re for the Disquiet Junto project, Two Screws. The two tracks were converted to WAV files and then sliced up into around 100 fragments each, making cuts at the beginning of transients using the editing capabilities in Reaper. These fragments were converted to FLAC files and each was sorted in order of increasing bit rate. This resulted in each track's fragments being re-ordered such that the quietest, simplest (in terms of timbre and melody) and longest segments of audio came first, whilst those at the end were louder, shorter and more complex. These re-ordered fragments were converted back into two single audio files, one of which was heavily compressed and the other was reversed and processed with delay. Together with a third track that was pitched down one octave, these tracks were then assembled, processed and mixed.
